01 — Coffee fund
Pay-what-you-drink, into one shared pot.
Beans, filters, milk, and the occasional repair all come out of one shared fund. Contributions are voluntary and there's no set amount — chip in whatever matches how much you drink. The more of us who pitch in, the more reliably there's a fresh pot waiting.
Purchases get a quick note in #coffee on Slack, so everyone can see where the money goes.

We keep the PayPal Pool page as the single source of truth — that's the one number to trust, no second figure to second-guess.

03 — Good to know
A few quick answers.
How does the coffee fund work?
The station is paid for by the people who drink from it. Contributions go into one shared PayPal Pool that buys beans, filters, milk, and the occasional new gadget. It's voluntary — chip in whatever feels fair for how much you drink.
Where do I see the current balance?
On the PayPal Pool page — it's the single source of truth. Use the "Open the PayPal Pool" button above.
How are coffee purchases announced?
Every purchase gets a quick note in #coffee on Slack, so everyone can see where the money goes.
Is this an official fundraiser?
No. It's an informal, voluntary pool run by the people who drink the coffee, and it isn't affiliated with any company or charity.
